Hawes & Curtis

Hawes & Curtis is a renowned British shirt maker located on London’s famous Jermyn Street.

The company was established in 1913 by Ralph Hawes and Freddie Curtis, who opened the first store in the Burlington Arcade, Piccadilly.

Entrepreneur Touker Suleyman bought the company back in 2001 for just £1 taking on all debts and liabilities.

Today the firm is now debt free and operates 23 stores in the United Kingdom with plans to open six more in the coming months.

Hawes & Curtis has secured a lucrative franchise deal to open several stores across the Middle East – the first of which officially opened in Dubai earlier this year.

The company also has a store in Cologne, Germany.

In 2006 Hawes & Curtis introduced its international website, which was re-launched in September 2013, when the company celebrated its centenary. This was soon followed by the launch of a German and Australian version of the website.

Over the years the heritage shirt retailer has expanded its range to include suits and shoes, accessories, casualwear and a womenswear collection.
